The recent stumbles from the Harris campaign are becoming hard to ignore. From botched narratives to poorly executed photo-ops, the campaign’s missteps are adding up, casting doubt on its ability to maintain momentum as the 2024 election season heats up. A series of incidents have illustrated an apparent lack of preparation and strategy, leaving many wondering if the vice president’s team is capable of steering her campaign through the increasingly choppy waters.
Earlier this week, Vice President Kamala Harris launched an attack on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, accusing him of neglecting federal assistance for Hurricane Milton. However, it didn’t take long for President Joe Biden himself to undermine her claim, completely contradicting her statement and leaving the campaign scrambling to recover. This wasn’t just a minor miscommunication; it was emblematic of a broader issue: the campaign’s inability to get its facts straight before attempting to craft a narrative. When your own running mate has to step in and debunk your claims, it’s not just a bad look—it’s amateur hour.
The chaos didn’t stop there. A recent campaign stop at Otro Café in Phoenix, Arizona, delivered more bad optics. With Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff in tow, the visit was supposed to be a classic “down with the people” moment, showing solidarity with working-class Americans. But things quickly took a turn for the worse. Video footage emerged showing Walz and Emhoff walking away with their coffees without paying, forcing Walz’s daughter to assure the cashier that someone would settle the bill later. For a campaign that’s trying to resonate with middle-class voters, not realizing that you have to pay for your coffee is a glaring blunder. It seemed as though the two were more accustomed to having others handle the mundane details of daily life, leaving them out of touch with the very voters they were trying to court.
Tampon Tim and Doug went to a coffee shop, walked away from the counter without paying, and left Tim's daughter to inform the cashiers that a handler will be coming to pay with a credit card.
Just like every middle class person does lmfao.pic.twitter.com/a95EK7gyU0

Folks, this is as bad as watching Doug and Kamala try to use a shovel.
