Since President Biden announced that he would be withdrawing from the race, Vice President Harris has gotten a ton of buzz.
Harris is getting a ton of love from donors, Hollywood, and the media picking up some solid momentum. But at some point Kamala is going to have to come to earth and actually go on the record about events and situations facing the country.
One of them is the conflict going on in Israel, and Vice President Kamala Harris has leaned into being critical of Israel. However, she’s going to have to go on the record because the situation in the Middle East just went to another level.
The leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, has been assassinated in Tehran, as revealed by Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard this Wednesday. The responsible party remains unclaimed. However, many have assumed that Israel was behind the attack, especially after it was learned how the attack was carried out (more on that later).
Israel’s history includes strategic hits on key individuals in the Islamic Republic, such as nuclear scientists, and targeted attacks on weapon depots and infrastructure in Iran, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon. There is speculation that similar considerations were made in the assassination of Haniyeh.
So there are reports that the hit was carried out by an “airborne guided projectile.” Iranian officials are trying to figure out if the missile was fired inside or outside Iran’s borders.
In other words, whoever did this had to have an advanced missile system to make sure the projectile hit the correct area. This was like an ambush or an IED. This means the idea of any ceasefire is out the window, and Kamala is going to have to weigh in.
As for the Biden administration…they are saying that they had no knowledge and they don’t need to. Biden won’t have to deal with any of the consequences of letting Israel do as they wish between now and November.
The only person that creates a problem for is Kamala Harris.
If people inside the Biden administration wanted to get back at Kamala this was a great way to do it. All they have to do is sit back and watch.
