Since Vice President Kamala Harris has been seemingly all but selected to be the Democrat primary candidate for President there has been a lot of discussion about her role at the border.
Just last week there were numerous stories trying to downplay her previous statement about border patrol agents and reports she was not designated by Biden as border czar.
In other words, the media and Democrats were doing everything they could to separate Kamala from Biden’s border policy.
Then Senator Elizabeth Warren sat down for an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper and seemingly undid all that work.
Senator Warren was asked about the criticism Vice President Kamala Harris has been receiving regarding her handling of the border crisis. This became a point of contention after President Biden assigned her to find a solution early in his term. In response to this, Senator Warren stated, “Border crossings now are lower than they were in the last year of the previous administration. But recognize – this is a problem that ultimately has to be solved by Congress.”
Senator Warren expanded on her own opinions. She expressed, “We need the tools in order to have more resources at the border, and more resources in the states and cities that are supporting migrants. Moreover, I believe we need to create a pathway to citizenship.”
Elizabeth Warren:
“I believe we need to create a pathway to citizenship [for the 10 million+ illegal aliens let in by the Biden-Harris administration]. Kamala Harris will work with Congress and get that done.” pic.twitter.com/wfO9qzgO7w

This statement certainly did not go unnoticed. Republican vice-presidential candidate Senator JD Vance suggested via tweet that Senator Warren is eager about Vice President Harris’s potential role because she has the intent to grant mass amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants.
In a similar vein, Stephen Miller, a previous advisor of the former administration, perceived the Democratic Senator’s statement as a twofold Promise: unrestricted taxpayer support for newly arrived undocumented immigrants, and U.S. citizenship for those coming from over 150 countries.
Additionally, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott commented that the Democratic party is confirming that Vice President Harris will work alongside Congress to provide citizenship to the 11 million undocumented immigrants they have allowed to enter.
What Warren seems to be the opposite of Kamala’s messaging.
Who, by the way, is doing some incredible flip-flopping.
