Biden decided to take a trip to Van Leeuwen’s ice cream parlor before sitting down for an interview with Seth Meyers, which turned into a very bizarre event.
The man was so encapsulated with his ice cream he seemed to struggle to answer questions.
The President tried to deny that his upcoming trip to the border had anything to do with former President Trump’s visit.
The two are set to be at the southern border on Thursday in different locations. Biden didn’t announce his trip until after former President Trump made the announcement. Notice he didn’t mention the murder of Laken Riley.

However, while he was eating ice cream in New York City, the White House released a statement:
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Laken Hope Riley. People should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law if they are found to be guilty. Given this is an active case, we would have to refer you to state law enforcement and ICE.

Biden was asked about a ceasefire and went on the record to say one should start next week.
REPORTER: “Can you give us a sense of when you think that ceasefire will start?”
