Unfortunately for me but great for you, I have to read a New York Times report a few times to believe my eyes.
Kamala decided not to attend the New York City 79th annual Al Smith dinner – which is a comedy roast – which gave Trump the spotlight and he slayed it.
Instead of attending Kamala made a video and it fell flat. It was like something a crappy off-Broadway millennial actor would like:
NEW: Kamala Harris releases her pre-recorded video for the Al Smith dinner in New York that she didn’t show up for.
Comedian Jim Gaffigan made fun of the Vice President after the crowd gave a dismal applause once it ended.

Ok back to the Times.
So following the event the NYT’s did a write up on the best jokes.
The paper wrote that the “results were mixed at best.”
Folks…Trump slayed it and we aren’t just saying that. We’ll post the full remarks at the bottom so you can decide yourself.
In the piece by the Times they pointed out what they felt were top most like:
The “Most biblical joke. Mr. Gaffigan, drawing from Scripture to address Melania Trump, who made a rare appearance on the campaign trail: “Jesus taught us to forgive seven times, not seven times, but 70 times seven. And Melania, you may be the first person to actually reach that.”
Now, they did mention Trump’s hilarious joke about the Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, calling it the “cringiest Emhoff joke.”
President Trump with a nuclear joke about Doug Emhoff:
“A major issue in this race is childcare, and Kamala has put forward a concept of a plan… The only piece of advice I would have for her in the event she wins would be not to let husband Doug anywhere near the nannies.” 🔥 pic.twitter.com/bos8Buz45r

The Times was fair enough to admit that Harris’ sketch “fell flat in the room.”
However, NYT’s report (which you can read here and for now isn’t behind a paywall as of the writing of this post) was missing was probably Trump’s most savage line that had the audience roaring.
“There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris’ but I’m not worried about them at all, because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me,” Trump said.
Just listen to the audience folks and remember he isn’t exactly in front of a friendly crowd.

Savage folks, just savage.
It’s worth watching the full speech, just to watch Chuck Schumer’s face.
Donald Trump’s full speech at the Al Smith Dinner.
Must watch 🤣
