Trump Serves Fries At Local McDonald’s

Former President Donald Trump’s weekend antics brought some signature flair to Pennsylvania, where he not only manned the drive-thru at a local McDonald’s but also sent an eyebrow-raising birthday wish to Vice President Kamala Harris. Yep, Trump spent part of his Sunday flipping fries and handing out orders in Feasterville-Trevose, leaving customers delighted—and, in typical Trump fashion, taking a few playful jabs along the way.

While serving up burgers and fries, Trump surprised customers by announcing their meals were on him—cue the cheers and free McNuggets. Amid the whirlwind, he made time to chat with press members who were camped out across the drive-thru lane. That’s when the conversation took an unexpected turn: someone mentioned it was Harris’s birthday.

Upon hearing the news, Trump leaned into his trademark mix of sarcasm and showmanship: “Kamala’s birthday? She’s 60?” he asked with mock surprise before chuckling. “Happy Birthday, Kamala. Maybe I’ll get her some flowers. Or better yet—some McDonald’s fries.” He later took to Truth Social to share a message for the VP, posting, “Kamala, Happy 60th Birthday!”

The moment didn’t just end with a birthday quip. Trump used the opportunity to stir up some skepticism about Harris’s claim of having worked at McDonald’s back in the ’80s. Harris recently opened up about her time at the fast-food giant on *The Howard Stern Show*, recalling the challenges of working the fry station during her college years. “I was doing fries, and you’ve really got to stay on top of that timer,” she told Stern. She also reflected on the broader economic reality of fast-food jobs: “For some, it’s a paycheck to get by, but for others, it’s how they support their family.”

But Trump wasn’t buying it. During an interview on *Fox and Friends* earlier that week, he flat-out called Harris’s story into question. “She didn’t work there. We checked,” Trump insisted. “She never worked at McDonald’s.” When Brian Kilmeade pressed him on the claim, Trump doubled down: “That’s why I’m going to McDonald’s. Because she lied.”

With the 2024 election right around the corner, these lighthearted jabs feel anything but coincidental. As both Trump and Harris gear up for the final stretch, moments like these show that no fry—or comment—is too small in the battle for public favor.
