As former President Trump appears to be gaining momentum on the campaign trail, those on the left are beginning to panic.

Liberals who are very emotional are lashing out.

For example, MSNBC analyst Donny Deutsch urged military leaders to launch an ad campaign against former President Donald Trump.

During a segment on “Morning Joe,” Deutsch suggested that former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, former Secretary of Defense James Mattis, former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley release an ad campaign, it could help turn voters against Trump.

“Contrast is everything in this election,” Deutsch said. “And I think the military is the greatest example to show the contrast between two men. You see Donald Trump, who, you know, got off, didn’t serve because of bunions and allegedly told John Kelly, his chief of staff … as they were in a cemetery looking at fallen heroes, ‘Why would any person be a sucker and give their life for their country?’ And that’s all you need to know about Donald Trump.”

“I think the most compelling advertising campaign would be centered around the military,” he continued.

“If we got Mattis, McMaster, Milley and Kelly, to go to screen and say, ‘look this country cannot stand Donald Trump. The defense of this country will not stand Donald Trump. We are great Americans. We believe in the country. We trust this country. We know this country. You can’t vote for Donald Trump.’ I think the military is the secret weapon in this election and I hope those ads come to fruition.”

A few days later, there was an even crazier segment on MSNBC when New York Times writer Molly Jong-Fast said that only low-information voters would take Hunter Biden’s legal problems into account for their support of Biden.

“I think this Hunter Biden case, even though, you know, the idea that they’re charging him because he said he was an addict in the text message, and I mean, that stuff is pretty convoluted,” Jong-Fast said. “But, you know, it does make the case that the law is the law for everyone. And they really are. These charges are pretty unusual, and they’re doing it. So, there really is a sign that they’re just going after everyone left, right, center.”

MSNBC’s Jonathan Lemire asked, “So, I think those are good things in his column. Do you think there would be any, any downside here for President Biden were Hunter to be convicted? Of course, as the personal toll, of course. Do we think there is any political impact?”

“Yeah, I mean, I think, look, you know, there are low-information voters who are like, oh, they’re both in trouble with the law,” Jong-Fast said. “I mean, I would say Hunter Biden is very different than Donald Trump — and being a crack addict because you have an addiction is very different than a myriad of criminal charges, many cases which you’ve been able to punt. And then you have these fraud cases. So I don’t think they’re the same at all, but I do think, you know, everything can be a problem, especially in politics.”
