Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who never quite met a tough question she couldn’t dodge with a rehearsed line and a chuckle, is scheduled to sit down with the House Oversight Committee in September. And she’s not coming alone — nope.
She’s just one in a whole parade of former Biden officials finally taking a number and waiting their turn for a little Q&A session with House investigators. You know, the kind that doesn’t come with TV lights or pre-approved talking points.
Joining Jean-Pierre in this little off-Broadway drama are Ian Sams (that guy from the White House Counsel’s Office who seemed to think everything was “Republican disinformation”), Andrew Bates (whose main job appeared to be retweeting White House press releases), and Jeff Zients — yep, the former White House Chief of Staff himself. According to Fox News Digital, all four are expected to appear voluntarily for transcribed interviews, which sounds a lot like, we’ll come if we have to, but we’re bringing lawyers and lots of coffee.
🚨 KARINE JEAN-PIERRE CALLED TO TESTIFY in Biden cover-up!
Chairman Comer (@RepJamesComer) demands interviews with KJP, Zients, Sams & Bates over Biden’s MENTAL DECLINE scandal and shady AUTOPEN SCHEME.

Now let’s not pretend this is just a friendly meet-and-greet. Committee Chairman James Comer is investigating whether these folks helped hide signs of Biden’s very visible, very public mental and physical decline. The kind of decline you don’t need classified briefings to notice. Just watch the man try to exit a stage, or remember a name, or — heaven help us — finish a sentence without getting lost in a verbal corn maze. The concern? That some executive actions may have been signed via autopen, without the president actually knowing what was going on. But hey, nothing to see here, folks — just your Commander-in-Chief maybe getting ghostwritten by a pen.
Of course, the Biden camp isn’t taking kindly to this. In a New York Times interview (which conveniently required no cognitive tests), Biden insisted he “made every decision” on his own. Sure, Joe. And I’m the Tooth Fairy. The same team that hides him in Delaware half the week swears up and down that everything’s fine, and we’re just seeing things. It’s not confusion, it’s… empathy?
Meanwhile, Comer and team have already questioned several ex-Biden aides, including former White House physician Kevin O’Connor and Jill Biden’s longtime aide Anthony Bernal. Both of them lawyered up, showed up, and pled the Fifth. But don’t worry — they insist that doesn’t mean they have anything to hide. It just means they don’t want to incriminate themselves. You know, for reasons.
Yeah, they’re not guilty…
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Watch the moment Anthony Bernal takes the 5th at our deposition today.

Interestingly, Biden’s former deputy chief of staff Annie Tomasini was all set to talk voluntarily until her lawyer blinked and requested a subpoena instead. That’s usually not the move of someone with nothing to worry about — but then again, we’re not dealing with transparency champions here. This is the same administration that’s turned ducking questions into an Olympic sport.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, ever the media darling, has made surprise drop-ins at past interviews. No doubt to offer a dramatic defense of the Biden legacy, or at least some on-brand outrage. Meanwhile, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida isn’t pulling punches — he’s calling for Jill Biden herself to be subpoenaed. After all, she’s played the role of caregiver-in-chief so effectively, it raises the question: who’s really been running the show?
And then there’s the anonymous Biden team source calling the investigation “dangerous.” Not because it’s inaccurate — but because it might actually work. The claim is that Republicans are just looking for “one tiny inconsistency” to blow the whole thing wide open and give Trump’s DOJ a chance to go scorched-earth on his political rivals.
The thing is, if your whole defense hinges on everyone sticking to the same story, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of your innocence. It sounds a lot more like damage control.
So, buckle up. September’s shaping up to be a rough month for the “nothing to see here” crowd. And for the rest of us? Let’s just hope someone remembers to bring the popcorn. This might get interesting.
