The good news? There’s a new sheriff in town. Trump’s executive order to classify Antifa as a terrorist organization is finally showing its teeth. And unlike the past few years, it seems the DOJ is ready to take the gloves off. About time. No more pretending that black hoodies and slogans are a get-out-of-jail-free card. If you fire a rifle at law enforcement, you’re going to prison. Period.
So, for everyone still pretending Antifa is just some loose-knit band of anti-fascist poetry majors who get a little too rowdy at protests—welcome to reality. They’re organized, they’re dangerous, and they just made the FBI’s most-wanted list. And now, finally, it looks like they’ll have to answer for it.
