Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence under President Trump, just dropped the hammer on some of the most well-known figures in the intelligence world. On Monday, she announced that the security clearances of 51 former intelligence officers—yes, the same ones who tried to pass off Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation”—have been officially revoked. And let’s be real, it’s about time.

Now, if you remember, back in 2020, a group of high-profile intelligence officials signed a letter suggesting that Hunter’s laptop had all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign. But as we later found out (and as they admitted), they knew that wasn’t true. They weren’t raising a “yellow flag”—they were running cover. And now, thanks to Gabbard’s no-nonsense approach, their access to classified information is gone.

Who’s on the chopping block? Oh, just some of the biggest names in intelligence: Former DNI James Clapper, ex-CIA Directors Mike Hayden, John Brennan, and Leon Panetta, and even former National Security Advisor John Bolton. And let’s not forget former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as anti-Trump figures like Letitia James and Alvin Bragg. These folks played a role in misleading the public, and now they’re facing the consequences.

But here’s the real kicker—Gabbard also made it clear that former President Joe Biden will no longer receive the President’s Daily Brief. That’s right, no more classified intel for Biden. And let’s be honest, even when he was in the White House, was he really paying attention to those briefings? Yeah, probably not.

Now, this isn’t just a one-off move. This is part of a broader effort led by President Trump to hold intelligence officials accountable for meddling in domestic politics. His executive order, signed on day one of his administration, tasked the DNI with assessing how intelligence agencies were used to push false narratives—like the Hunter Biden laptop hoax. And more importantly, it ordered recommendations for disciplinary action against those who played a role in it.

One of the most jaw-dropping admissions came from Douglas Wise, a former CIA operations officer, who later confessed that he and the other signers knew the laptop was real but chose to sign the letter anyway. That’s right—they knew the truth but pushed the narrative anyway because, well, it was politically convenient.

And if that wasn’t enough, let’s not forget that Gabbard has been cleaning house over at the intelligence agencies. Just last month, she made headlines when she revoked the security clearances and fired over 100 people from the NSA for using an official government chat system to discuss, of all things, pornographic LGBT content. You can’t make this stuff up.

Bottom line? The intelligence community got caught playing politics, and now they’re paying the price. Gabbard isn’t messing around, and if this is just the beginning, let’s just say there are probably a few more nervous folks in D.C. right now.
