Oh boy, where to even start with this circus of self-parody that the American left put on over the weekend? Apparently, tens of thousands of very concerned — and very confused — individuals took to the streets in what they proudly dubbed the “No Kings” protests. That’s right: in the year 2025, we’ve got people grabbing markers, slapping slogans on poster board, and screaming about monarchy as if George III just rolled back into town. I half expected someone to start chanting, “Down with tea!”
According to the very serious organizers of this very serious movement, on October 18, more than seven million people — that’s their claim, anyway — participated in over 2,700 events across the globe to tell America that we, apparently, still need to be reminded that the power belongs to the people. One tiny problem: we figured that out back in 1776. Jefferson, Madison, Washington — ring a bell? They kind of handled this whole “no kings” thing about 250 years ago. But hey, don’t let centuries of democratic government stop you from making cardboard signs and yelling about imaginary tyrants.
Of course, what this was really about had nothing to do with monarchy and everything to do with Trump Derangement Syndrome — that psychological condition that turns otherwise functioning adults into historical illiterates every time the name Donald Trump is spoken aloud. One protestor carried a sign that read, “WOULD YOU LIKE TO KILL NAZIS W ME.” His definition of “Nazi”? Stephen Miller. When asked if he’d actually kill him, the guy didn’t blink: “If I had the chance, yea I would.” But sure, Trump is the one threatening democracy.
The so-called “No Kings” protest wasn’t a protest, it was a coordinated and corruptly funded mass call for political murder.
The crowd was filled with left-wing extremists openly calling for murder of President Trump and celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

And let’s talk about the logic here. As Brit Hume rightly pointed out, this is a guy who ran for president three times — not through royal decree or military coup, but through free and fair elections. His policies? Passed by Congress. His presidency? Certified by the Electoral College. The Founders would be less offended by Trump and more concerned that a sizable portion of the electorate thinks that wearing a pink beanie and calling someone a “Nazi” counts as civic engagement.
Batya Ungar-Sargon was right on the money when she said the left isn’t protesting a king — they’re protesting their fellow Americans. That’s what this is: a tantrum against democracy because it didn’t give them the outcome they wanted. And the Babylon Bee, as usual, distilled it perfectly: a giant festival of ignorance, where the truly clueless gather to shout nonsense at the sky and call it activism.
And just in case you thought there might be a noble undercurrent in this madness, the groups organizing this thing read like a “Who’s Who” of radical leftism: Communist Party USA, Antifa, Democratic Socialists of America, Indivisible, MoveOn — the usual suspects. These aren’t grassroots patriots standing up for the Constitution. They’re professional agitators trying to cosplay the French Revolution with less guillotines and more hashtags.

Let’s not overlook the optics here, either. NBC-10 Boston’s Sue O’Connell — no bastion of conservative bias, mind you — noted the crowd looked like it came straight from an AARP convention. “Q-tips,” she called them. Elderly boomers, white-haired and wrinkled, waving “DOWN WITH FASCISM” signs with all the energy their bad knees would allow. According to PJ Media’s Eric Florack, it looked like the protest organizers raided every bingo hall in progressive America. The Woodstock generation is back, folks — only this time, instead of singing about peace and love, they’re tweeting about how Trump is literally Hitler from their retirement condos.
Now look, it’s fair to say not all baby boomers or Gen Z’ers are this delusional. Most Americans — regardless of age — can recognize that President Trump is not a monarch, a dictator, or an aspiring tyrant. He’s a former president who got reelected by the people. That’s not fascism; that’s a functioning democracy. But the “No Kings” crowd doesn’t want to admit that. It hurts their narrative. So instead, they stage this performative outrage to soften the ground for future legal warfare — the inevitable impeachment attempt when and if the Democrats claw their way back to a House majority in 2026.
This is the “No Kings” protest in Marion NC, about a 30 minute drive from Asheville NC.
The crowd that showed up is BEYOND PARODY at this point…
…literally every single person at this protest is retired and white

This wasn’t a protest. It was a dress rehearsal. A massive, astroturfed psyop to feed the narrative that Trump is some existential threat to the republic — even though every inch of his political comeback has happened through the same democratic channels the Founders built. It’s nonsense, it’s embarrassing, and it’s dangerous.
But hey, at least they finally got around to opposing monarchy. Took ’em a couple centuries — but progress is progress, right?
