Vance Responds to Biden’s Recent Comments

Vice President JD Vance just took Joe Biden out behind the rhetorical woodshed, and honestly, it was overdue. After years of watching Biden’s foreign policy unravel like a dollar store sweater, it’s more than a little amusing to hear him wag his finger at the current administration over Ukraine.

Vance, in his usual Midwestern steel-meets-Ivy-League tone, didn’t hold back. And why should he? Biden had his shot, and the only thing he managed to launch was a full-scale invasion—by Russia. Not exactly a stellar legacy to critique others from.

Let’s just set the record straight. Biden, in his BBC sob story, called the Trump-Vance meeting with Zelenskyy “beneath America.” Beneath America? No, what’s beneath America is 13 service members lost in Kabul because of Biden’s botched withdrawal.

What’s beneath America is our energy independence flushed down the drain and replaced with begging OPEC on bended knee. The man who got played by both Beijing and Brussels wants to lecture Trump and Vance on international dignity? Please.

Vance made it crystal clear: supporting Ukrainian sovereignty doesn’t mean writing a blank check and handing Putin a microphone. The Trump administration is putting peace on the table—actual, serious, concrete peace proposals. That’s a lot more than Biden ever managed, unless you count platitudes and photo ops as diplomacy. And yes, the Russians are playing hardball. That’s negotiation 101, not some grand moral crisis. Vance said if they don’t negotiate in good faith, we walk. That’s leadership, not weakness masquerading as virtue.

Then there’s the global trade scene, where Biden once promised to “restore America’s leadership.” Translation: more deals that benefit Berlin and Beijing, while Main Street in Milwaukee suffers. Meanwhile, Trump and Vance are out here actually making progress. First up? The UK, with a reciprocal tariff deal that respects our shared history and benefits American workers. Imagine that—trade policy that puts America first without apologizing to Brussels or bowing to Beijing. It’s almost like adults are in charge again.

Of course, China’s not thrilled. Their communist leadership never is when they’re expected to play fair. But Vance didn’t blink. He’s ready to talk, but not to grovel. That’s a big departure from the last administration, where the best “strategy” seemed to be crossing fingers and sending pandas back as a peace offering.

And just in case anyone thought this administration was slacking on the home front, Vance threw in a reminder that the DOGE task force is still hot on the trail of pandemic fraudsters. Elon Musk might be stepping back, but the mission continues. Pam Bondi is sharpening her legal teeth, and indictments are on the horizon. Good. Someone has to clean up the mess from the COVID spending free-for-all that Biden presided over with all the oversight of a blindfolded babysitter.

As for the inside-the-Beltway palace intrigue? The media loves a good rivalry, especially when it involves Rubio and Vance. But according to JD, there’s no bad blood. Just two grown men doing their jobs—and doing them well. In fact, Vance went so far as to call Rubio his best friend in the administration. Whether that’s PR or reality, it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that the Trump-Vance team is functioning, firing on all cylinders, and not spending every waking moment managing leaks and damage control.

And if Vance is eyeing 2028? Let’s just say, based on this week alone, you’d be wise not to bet against him. Because if there’s one thing the American people are tired of, it’s the kind of tone-deaf, highbrow scolding Biden’s peddling. Vance isn’t here to bow to outdated dogma or get misty-eyed about diplomatic traditions. He’s here to win. And frankly, it’s about time someone did.
