Well, here we are—2025, and things just keep getting more surreal. This weekend brought a surprising twist that even some of us didn’t see coming: former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
Now, before we go any further, let’s acknowledge one thing right up front—President Trump, being the class act he is, issued a sincere and respectful statement on Truth Social. He and Melania offered warm wishes and prayers for Joe Biden and his family. That’s how real leadership responds, even when dealing with a former political rival. Grace under pressure, something we haven’t exactly seen in abundance from the other side.

But of course, this diagnosis comes wrapped in layers of political irony and, let’s be honest, consequence. Biden, now 82, has long been the subject of whispered (and not-so-whispered) concerns about his physical and mental fitness. For years, his handlers tried to prop him up—sometimes literally—while pretending everything was totally normal. And now we find out not only has he been dealing with severe spinal issues, possible dementia symptoms, and cognitive confusion, but cancer has joined the fray too. It’s almost too on-the-nose, even for Washington.
Let’s rewind a bit. The recent reports about Biden’s condition detail a Gleason score of 9—translation: this is no minor scare. This is a serious, high-grade cancer with bone metastasis. But of course, we’re being told that the cancer is “hormone-sensitive” and “manageable.” That’s the phrase of choice when the handlers are still trying to avoid the reality of what this means for someone in their eighties who has already had trouble remembering when his own son died.
And speaking of memory, that whole Robert Hur interview tape—yikes. Long pauses, slurred speech, forgotten dates… including when he was vice president or when Trump was elected. It’s like watching the “Weekend at Bernie’s” sequel nobody asked for. Yet just a few days ago, Biden was trying to gaslight America on “The View,” of all places, insisting he’s totally fine and that questions about his cognitive state are unfounded. The tape, meanwhile, says otherwise—and loudly.
Now, to add to the theater, we’ve got Axios and CNN’s own Jake Tapper throwing gasoline on the fire with their new book Original Sin. In it, Biden’s aides apparently admitted behind closed doors that a second term would’ve involved wheelchairs and hidden medical interventions just to get through a basic day. And this isn’t some conservative fever dream—it’s Axios and Tapper, not exactly Trump rally regulars.
We’re told they couldn’t roll Biden out in a wheelchair before the election because it would be “bad optics.” Translation: the American people weren’t allowed to know the truth about the condition of the man they were being asked to re-elect. So while legacy media was busy doing puff pieces and fact-checking Trump’s every tweet, the actual president was on the brink of needing a motorized scooter just to make it to the Oval Office bathroom.
Trump’s, Obama’s, and Bush’s medical exams are all easily accessible.
Biden’s isn’t.
They covered it up.

The real tragedy here isn’t just Biden’s condition—everyone deserves compassion during a medical crisis. The tragedy is that the Democratic establishment knew he wasn’t fit for office and ran him anyway. And now that the truth is spilling out—cancer, confusion, wheelchairs—it’s becoming clear just how much they were willing to hide to cling to power.
So yes, prayers for Joe Biden, absolutely. But prayers for America, too—because this mess didn’t happen in a vacuum. It was manufactured, stage-managed, and sold to the public like a bad infomercial. And now the warranty’s expired.
