Another violent crime, another illegal immigrant with a rap sheet longer than your average CVS receipt, and another grim reminder that President Biden’s immigration policies are less about securing the border and more about flinging open the doors and crossing his fingers.
Let’s get this straight: a Dominican national, Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez — a 21-year-old walking crime spree — was caught at the southern border back in April 2023. Instead of getting a one-way ticket back to wherever he came from, the Biden administration decided to roll out the welcome mat. Because nothing says “compassion” like letting a kidnapping suspect with prior felony arrests just waltz into the country.
And now? He allegedly shoots an off-duty Customs and Border Protection officer in the face — in Riverside Park, no less — during what authorities say was a robbery attempt. A federal officer, sitting peacefully, minding his own business, ends up in a shootout with someone who should’ve never been on U.S. soil in the first place.
But wait — it gets worse. This guy wasn’t some quiet first-timer who slipped through the cracks. According to NYC Mayor Eric Adams, Nunez had prior arrests for assault, violating an order of protection, a robbery last December, a stabbing in January, and an active bench warrant out of the Bronx. Oh, and let’s not forget the kidnapping warrant out of Massachusetts. You’d think even a broken immigration system might accidentally flag someone like this. But under Biden, “catch and release” has turned into “catch, shrug, and unleash.”
President Trump wasn’t pulling punches on Truth Social, and why should he? He called Nunez an “Illegal Alien Monster” and frankly, that’s being generous. Monsters usually get stopped in stories — but this guy was practically invited in, with open arms and a free pass from the Biden White House.

Hand-wringing, press conferences, and vague promises to “look into it.” Mayor Adams seemed more interested in keeping a lid on public outrage than actually addressing how someone like this was even allowed to roam free in his sanctuary city. Meanwhile, the CBP officer — who had the guts to defend himself under fire — is left picking bullets out of his face while bureaucrats pass the buck and play PR.

Let’s not sugarcoat this: the only reason Nunez was in New York to pull this stunt is because Joe Biden’s administration is more concerned with “humanitarian parole” than homeland security. They’re turning our border agents into travel agents — processing paperwork, handing out notices to appear, and waving criminals through the gates like it’s Disneyland.
And for every illegal alien with good intentions — sure, they exist — there are too many like Nunez, who see our broken immigration system as a free pass to commit crime without consequences. It’s no longer just about jobs or asylum; it’s about total negligence.
Trump’s right. These people need to be removed — not next week, not next election cycle, but now. If you’re walking around with warrants, stabbings, robberies, and assault charges, you shouldn’t be sightseeing in Central Park — you should be behind bars or on a plane home. Period.
