House Issues Subpoena to Clintons in Probe

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have officially been subpoenaed to testify about their connections to none other than the infamous Jeffrey Epstein. You know, the guy whose “suicide” in a maximum-security prison somehow made Houdini look like an amateur escape artist. Yes, that Jeffrey Epstein — the same one whose little black book and private island have triggered more conspiracy theories than Area 51.

Now, before Democrats start clutching their pearls and screaming about political theater, let’s take a moment to breathe in the rich, earthy scent of overdue accountability. Because for years, any attempt to dig into Epstein’s high-profile connections — especially if they had a big fat (D) next to their name — was either dismissed as a “right-wing fever dream” or buried under layers of bureaucratic indifference. Funny how that works.

Enter Rep. James Comer, who just rolled out a subpoena list that reads like a reunion roster for the deep-state elite. Besides the Clintons, we’ve got James Comey, Robert Mueller, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and even Alberto Gonzales. That’s a bipartisan buffet of former DOJ brass, and you have to wonder: what exactly are they all being asked to clarify?

Well, Comer seems pretty interested in Epstein’s inner circle — specifically what the DOJ has been sitting on all these years. The department’s July memo claiming there’s no credible evidence of a “client list” or any blackmail operation should’ve been the end of it, right? Except, not so fast. If that memo was supposed to quiet the base, it failed spectacularly. Conservatives didn’t just shrug and move on — they lit up social media, talk radio, and Capitol Hill like a Christmas tree. And when figures like Steve Bannon and Laura Loomer are calling foul, you better believe the temperature just went up a few degrees.

Trump, meanwhile, has played it cooler, standing by Attorney General Pam Bondi and giving her the green light to dig. Bondi even sent Deputy AG Todd Blanche to Florida for a face-to-face with Ghislaine Maxwell herself — because if anyone’s still holding onto the truth about Epstein’s list of “friends,” it’s the woman who helped arrange the parties.

Of course, the same Democrats who had zero interest in transparency when they ran the show are suddenly calling for investigations, too. Isn’t that adorable? As if we all forgot that Epstein’s island wasn’t exactly a Republican hangout. No, that frequent flyer list leaned hard into celebrity, Ivy League, and Clinton-era elite — the same crowd that’s always treated Washington like their personal playground.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t mince words either. She rightly reminded everyone that it was this administration (read: Republican-led House) that actually ordered the DOJ to take a long, hard look at all the Epstein files. And what did that exhaustive review find? Allegedly, nothing. Zero. Zilch. Not a shred of blackmail material. No client list. No predicate for further investigation. Which, let’s be honest, is about as believable as Hillary’s email server being wiped with a cloth.

So here we are. The Clintons are due to testify — Hillary on October 9, Bill on October 14 — and the rest of the D.C. alumni will follow in kind. Whether they cooperate is anyone’s guess, but one thing is clear: the political theater is now fully booked, and the curtain’s about to rise.

If Democrats are sweating bullets over this, it’s probably because they know how many years they spent trying to pretend Epstein was just some random, isolated predator. But when the elite rubbed elbows with this guy for decades — flying on his plane, attending his dinners, and hobnobbing at his private estate — Americans deserve real answers. Not another polished DOJ memo written with a blindfold on.

So grab your popcorn, folks. It’s subpoena season in Washington, and this time, the usual suspects might actually have to talk.
