It would appear that Kamala, who entered the 2024 presidential race like a hurricane, is slowly sinking like a sinking ship.

The Gold Star family attack has created a firestorm along with her copying former President Trump’s campaign policies. Now, it appears that even Hillary Clinton doesn’t want to be around her.

In a surprising turn of events, Hillary Clinton has had to cancel her appearance at a high-profile fundraiser for Kamala Harris in the Hamptons, reportedly due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis that she claimed to get at the Democratic National Convention.

This is interesting because the convention ended on August 22, and that was over ten days ago.

According to a report by Page Six in the New York Post, the former Secretary of State and First Lady had been scheduled to attend the fundraiser in support of the Harris-Walz campaign last Monday. However, sources indicated that Clinton contracted COVID-19 ahead of the event, forcing her to withdraw from the gathering. In her stead, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, stepped up to fill her role.

The fundraiser itself was held at the luxurious residence of Richard and Lisa Perry, renowned art collectors whose Hamptons home is a fitting backdrop for such an exclusive event. The Perrys are known for their impressive collection of works by blue-chip artists, including Frank Stella, Alexander Calder, Ellsworth Kelly, and Donald Judd. The event was a significant draw for those in the political and social elite, with tickets for the highest tier going for a staggering $100,000 each.

“This is likely to be one of the last small events in the NY area before the election, so it is not to be missed.” The invitation also listed several prominent figures as event chairs, including Sharon and Jon Corzine, Crystal McCrary McGuire and Ray McGuire, Brooke Garber Neidich and Dan Neidich, and Laurie Tisch, among others.

Despite Hillary Clinton’s absence, the fundraiser still managed to attract a who’s who of political donors and supporters. One source familiar with the Clintons’ involvement in such events remarked, “They don’t have to show at these things,” emphasizing the flexibility with which substitutions can be made when necessary. Another source mentioned that this event, along with another hosted at the home of Clinton backer Michael Kempner, raised an impressive $2 million in just a few days.
