Democrats jump through flaming hoops to defend someone who doesn’t even belong in this country, let alone deserve its protection. The man in question? Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran illegal immigrant, now sitting in a prison cell in El Salvador where he belongs, thanks to President Trump. And yet, we’ve got Democrats frothing at the mouth to get this guy back on U.S. soil. You honestly can’t make this stuff up.
Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t mince words when she appeared on “Hannity.” She laid it out plain and simple: this so-called “Maryland man” (gotta love the media for softening that one) is a violent individual with documented domestic abuse allegations from his own wife. Jennifer Vasquez handwrote chilling accusations back in 2021 detailing how Abrego Garcia beat her, left her bruised, and terrified to be anywhere near him. This wasn’t some vague, unsubstantiated claim—it was crystal clear. She had photos. She had videos. She had fear.
NEW: @FoxNews has obtained the written domestic violence allegations from Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s wife in 2021, in which she alleges he is a repeat wife beater & writes “At this point, I am afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos/videos of how violent he can be and all… pic.twitter.com/s7yCji9jjq

But none of that seems to matter to the bleeding hearts on the left. No, they’re too busy crying foul over his deportation. The Supreme Court ruled on procedural grounds that his removal might’ve bypassed a few bureaucratic speed bumps, and now Democrats like Senator Chris Van Hollen are making diplomatic house calls in El Salvador, trying to strong-arm a sovereign nation into handing over someone who their own president calls a terrorist. That’s not hyperbole. El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele himself said he has no authority to smuggle a terrorist into the U.S.—a pretty loaded line, but absolutely on the money.
The evidence shows Kilmar Abrego Garcia has repeatedly been identified as a member of MS-13 by:
⁃ A Maryland county police gang unit
⁃ A reliable confidential informant
⁃ ICE officers
⁃ An immigration judge agreed
⁃ An appellate board agreed pic.twitter.com/ym0X4tYSAe— Attorney General Pamela Bondi (@AGPamBondi) April 17, 2025
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is doing what the rest of us wish more officials would: telling it like it is. She called this whole circus what it is—deranged. Because that’s what it is when U.S. senators prioritize alleged gang members over the families of murdered Americans. Leavitt stood beside Patty Morin, whose daughter Rachel was raped and killed by another El Salvadoran illegal, and made it clear—this administration is putting American families first. Or at least, it would be if the Democrats weren’t doing everything in their power to throw wrenches into the system.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt holds nothing back
“The Democrats and the media in this room have continually and wrongly labeled Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a Maryland father. There is no Maryland father.
Let me reiterate. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an illegal alien MS-13 gang… pic.twitter.com/9Ln03dnlKY

Let’s not gloss over that part. The Democrats aren’t just “concerned about due process.” They’re outraged that someone like Abrego Garcia—a man accused of brutalizing his wife and allegedly tied to one of the most savage gangs on the planet—isn’t being treated to a taxpayer-funded welcome home party. Forget the victims. Forget the law-abiding citizens. Forget the border agents who risk their lives keeping these people out. No, the modern Democratic Party sees someone like Abrego Garcia as the real victim here.
Bondi had it right. Every single person who whined and wailed about this man’s “rights” needs to issue a public apology to President Trump. Remember when Trump warned us about the bad hombres coming across the border? He was mocked, ridiculed, called every name in the book. But now the proof is staring us right in the face—and the left is still in denial.
And just when you think they’ve hit rock bottom, they dig deeper. Van Hollen’s El Salvador trip wasn’t a quiet phone call or a private diplomatic discussion. No, he showed up in person to advocate for the return of someone sitting in the Terrorism Confinement Center. Let that sink in. The same people who want to defund police departments and let violent criminals out on bail are now globe-trotting to negotiate with foreign prisons to bring them back. You can’t make this lunacy up.
This isn’t just about one case. It’s about priorities. It’s about common sense. And it’s about choosing between a government that protects its citizens and one that plays politics with their lives. The left made their choice. Thank God we’ve still got people like Bondi, Leavitt, and Trump who haven’t forgotten who they’re actually supposed to serve.
